实验室聚焦妇幼疾病的临床难点,对胚胎发育障碍及卵巢癌等妇幼重大疾病的机理及干预措施进行探索性研究。


实验室主要研究方向:
(1)类器官模拟人类早期胚胎发育;

(3)肿瘤放化疗耐药机制研究;
(4)肿瘤免疫治疗新策略基础与临床研究;

Our lab is hosted by Western China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University, a top-ranked Women’s and Children’s Hospital in China.

We are interested in understanding the etiologies of human developmental disorders, and exploring novel approaches to improve cancer treatment. We formulate hypothesis based on multi-omics datasets of patient specimens, and carry out mechanistic studies to identify novel risk genes and dysregulated pathways underlying tumor progression and developmental disorders. Past efforts have led us to identify novel regulators of stem cell self-renewal and genome stability. Ultimately, we hope that these studies will offer clues for fundamental yet challenging questions such as how our brains work. In addition, we collaborate with clinicians and industry partners to develop novel cell therapies to treat cancer and developmental disorders.


Our current research projects focus on:

(1) Using organoid models to understand mechanisms of early human embryogenesis;

(2) Understanding functions of human neurodevelopment disorder risk genes;

(3) Dissecting clinically relevant mechanisms of cancer drug resistance;

(4) Exploring new strategies of immunotherapy;

(5) Optimizing parameters of manufacturing cell therapeutics.
